HUM is a public school that is free and open to all students across the city, regardless of their academic skills, needs, and immigration status.
We welcome applications from students who will successfully graduatefrom the 8th grade, including students who are English Language Learners and who have special needs.
Admission to HUM is by lottery, with preferences given to:
1. Applicant whose sibling is currently attending the New Visions Charter School to which he/she is applying.
2. Applicant who resides in Community School District 10.
3. Applicant whose sibling is selected in the lottery.
