Summer Program





All students are required to attend the mandatory Summer Program. The purpose of the Program is to support students during the critical transitions in their high school career.





During the Summer Program, students will:

  • Be introduced to the school's curriculum that emphasizes research and writing skills.
  • Practice working in teams on a project with real-world implications.
  • Take assessments to determine academic supports needed during the school year.
  • Learn about school-wide expectations and HUM culture.
  • Develop relationships with teachers and students.

The Summer Program runs for 12 days, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in August.

Upon successful completion of the Summer Program, students receive 1 elective credit.
