The New Visions for Public Schools–Hunter College Urban Teacher Residency seeks applicants committed to educational equity and the imperative to provide all of New York City’s children with an excellent education.
Teaching is a challenging and complex profession that requires working collaboratively with colleagues while engaging in reflection for continual self-improvement. UTR recruits an applicant pool that reflects the diversity of students in New York City public schools. It actively seeks mid-career professionals looking to enter the field of education.
