Coursework Component

• Residents will pursue graduate-level coursework at Hunter College that is tailored to the goals of the residency.
• The coursework takes place during the first and second summers, plus one full day and one to two evenings per week during the school year.
• Coursework is fully aligned with the residents’ classroom experiences; major assessments in all courses will form part of the final resident portfolio.
• By the end of the residency, residents will be eligible for New York state teacher certification and a master’s degree from Hunter College.
