In today’s world, literacy is more important than ever. This section is designed to make literacy a part of your family life, helping you to develop your children's literacy skills from the day they say their first word until the day they graduate from high school.
LEARNThe New Visions Scholarship Fund
With the generous support of various donors, New Visions provides $20,000 over the course of four years toward students’ full-time undergraduate study. The scholarship is available only to students attending New Visions schools.
LEARNCharter
In September 2011, New Visions opened its first two Charter High Schools. This work is a result of pairing what New Visions has learned in the creation and support of small schools throughout the city of New York, with the flexibility to innovate curriculum, resources and assessments that the charter law offers. Creating these charter schools increases the number of high school choices families and students have, and will result in improved student outcomes. Scholarships for New York City Students
In this section you’ll find scholarships for New York City students based on many criteria, including academic achievement; learning and physical disabilities; noncitizen and international status; gay and transgender concerns; interests in community service, journalism, performance, the arts, science, writing; and much more.

The decision to go to college is one of the most important ones you can make. A college degree, whether from a two-year, four-year, technical or vocational school, is an investment that will pay off. This section will familiarize you and your family with how to prepare, select, apply to and pay for college.
LEARNThe Leonore Annenberg College Scholarship Fund
The Leonore Annenberg College Scholarship Fund is awarded each year to one exceptional high school junior. This scholarship funds the complete four-year cost of attendance at an academically rigorous college. It is offered only to students attending New Visions schools. Candidates are selected by their school principal.
