High School's Mission A Full Court Press

City officials cut the ribbon Monday inside a new Manhattan high school devoted to students interested in the sports industry.

Department of Education officials joined with teachers and students to officially open the Business of Sports School, or BOSS.

The small public high school opened last September with 103 ninth grade students.

The school aims to help kids prepare for careers in sports marketing, management or media.

It's part of the Bloomberg administration's mission to create more small, career oriented schools.

BOSS is expected to eventually grow to more than 400 students in four grades.
