New York State Readers Aid Program

Summary: For visually or hearing-impaired students to pay for note takers, readers, or interpreters while attending a two- or four-year college.
 

Eligibility: Must have severe to profound hearing loss or a speech discrimination of less than 70 percent or be legally blind. Must be a resident of New York state.

Amount: up to $1,000 per year renewable
