The Point Foundation Scholarship
Summary: For underprivileged students, especially those who have been abandoned by family and other support systems because of their sexual orientation or gender identification.

Messenger-Anderson Journalism Scholarship
Summary: For self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender college undergraduates.
Eligibility: Must be attending or accepted by an accredited four-year college or university and majoring in or planning a career in journalism and have a 2.8 GPA. Must be a member of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Winners participate in an eight-week intern program at the Task Force office in New York City.
