Summary: For children or financial dependents of deceased firefighters, volunteer firefighters, police officers, peace officers or emergency medical service workers who have died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty in service to the state of New York.
Eligibility: Must be a graduating High School senior or GED recipient planning to attend a post-secondary institution in New York State.

Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship
Summary: For graduating high school seniors with financial need who have worked as golf caddies.
Eligibility: Must be nominated by a golf club, have caddied for a minimum of two years, have completed the junior year of high school with above a B average and demonstrate financial need. Must attend a participating college.

Amount: Full tuition and housing, renewable for three years.

Seinfeld Scholarship Program
Summary: From a different borough each year, a four-year, full tuition scholarship is given to New York City public high school graduates to attend the college of their choice.
Eligibility: Must be a legal resident of New York City, and from the designated borough (Manhattan for 2009-10), graduating from a New York City public high school with a cumulative average of not less than 85. Upon graduation, plan to enroll in a full-time course of study leading to a bachelor's degree at any accredited four-year college or university and demonstrate financial need.

Summary: Four young artists and writers in grades 7-12 to submit recently created visual art and writing for competition.
