  • Signet Classics Student Scholarship Essay Contest

    Summary: For students to write an essay on a specified topic concerning one of the Signet Literacy Classics.

    Eligibility: Must be an 11th- or 12th-grade full-time student, either attending a U.S. high school or being homeschooled, who is between the ages of 16 and 18 and a resident of the United States.

  • Elks National Foundation Scholarship Most Valuable Student Competition

    Summary: Applicants will be judged on leadership and financial need and will advance through local, district, and state competitions to reach the national competition.

  • Eagle Foundation Scholarship

    Summary: To help exceptional young men and women prepare to become effective future leaders committed to making the world a better place.

    Eligibility: Must be a high school senior with a GPA of at least 3.4, have a combined SAT math and verbal score of 1,200 or above, require financial assistance, hold recognized leadership positions in the school and community and be seeking to make this world a better place. Must also reside in CT, NJ or NY, and live within two hour drive of Eagle Office in Greenwich, CT.

  • New York State Regents Awards for Children of Deceased and Disabled Veterans

    Summary: For students whose parents served in he U.S. armed forces during specific periods of war or national emergency.

    Eligibility: Must be the dependent of a disabled or deceased veteran, POW, MIA or recipient of an expeditionary medal for participation in specific operations. The veteran must currently be a New York State resident or have been a New York state resident at the time of death.

    Summary: For students with a parent or guardian who is a full-time public safety officer (police/fire). Awards are based on a combination of academic achievement, national test scores, extracurricular participation and an essay.
