The Good to Go Campaign

New Visions is launching the Good to Go campaign, which aims to engage students, parents, communities and educators in adopting college- and career-readiness benchmarks and strategies to ensure our students are college and career ready by 2013.

Family and Community Connections

In order to fully support students, it is critical that schools develop strong relationships with parents, families and the larger community. New Visions works closely with schools to engage families and community groups so that more students graduate from high school prepared for college and career.

Charter

In September 2011, New Visions opened its first two Charter High Schools. This work is a result of pairing what New Visions has learned in the creation and support of small schools throughout the city of New York, with the flexibility to innovate curriculum, resources and assessments that the charter law offers. Creating these charter schools increases the number of high school choices families and students have, and will result in improved student outcomes.
