Below is a summary of the major benefits that are offered to New Visions Charter High School employees and New Visions central office employees.
Paid Leave
CHARTER SCHOOL STAFF
Non-Faculty | All school-year holidays and breaks (summer break not included) totaling nearly 6 weeks of annual paid time off, plus an additional paid time off package |
Faculty | All school-year holidays and breaks (including summer) totaling approximately 10+ weeks of paid time off annually, plus additional personal/sick days |
CHARTER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION STAFF
Central office staff receive 4 weeks paid time off per year, plus 11 annual holidays. This increases to 5 weeks of personal time off after 2 years of employment.
403b Retirement Plan
In addition to offering employees the option to save for their retirement, New Visions provides a generous employer contribution equal to 8% of an employee’s salary after one year of employment. (Employer contributions vest over time.)
Medical and Dental Coverage
New Visions offers multiple medical and dental plans to choose from with generous employer subsidy for monthly premiums, including an option for free medical and dental insurance for employee only coverage.
