Residents will pursue graduate-level coursework at Hunter College that is tailored to the goals of the residency.
The coursework takes place during the first and second summers, plus one full day and one to two evenings per week during the school year.
Coursework is fully aligned with the residents' classroom experiences; major assessments in all courses will form part of the final resident portfolio.
By the end of the residency, residents will be eligible for New York state teacher certification and a master's degree from Hunter College.
