A Message from the Principal
It is with great pride that I welcome you to New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities III. I invite you to share in my pledge to do all that is possible to build a school synonymous with excellence and success.
To the students, let me say "Welcome!" This school is all about you. You will be challenged to think critically and creatively. You will learn what it means to be a responsible high school student and responsible young adult.
To the families, I say "Get ready!" I am confident that together we can lift our scholars so that they graduate down the road prepared to compete in an ever-changing world. The staff of Humanities III works tirelessly to challenge your students and to prepare them for the rigors of life.
We hope that you’ll consider coming to experience our school for yourself.
Ivan Cohen, Principal
Since we are a new, small school, after-school activities and clubs are determined based on student interests. Students have the opportunity to try out for PSAL sports on the Sheepshead Bay campus team.
Important things for parents to know
We are committed to the personal, social and emotional well-being of our students and provide a caring and supportive learning environment that facilitates student growth. Through a strong school counseling and advisory program, we will address the barriers that impede student learning. Students are required to wear the uniform daily. They also have the advantage of an extended day for more learning time.
About our campus
We are a small school co-located on the Sheepshead Bay campus in Brooklyn, providing our students with the opportunities and amenities that come with attending a large high school. Students on campus will share resources and work cooperatively with one another for the fostering of the campus community.
Humanities III is easily accessible using public transportation:
