New Visions teachers are not alone in their mission to advance students’ learning. They have resources and tools at their disposal.

Instructional Tools

• New Visions teachers have access to an open-source knowledge management system designed for educators to share best and emerging practices, lesson plans and strategies for improved student learning.

Data-Driven Assessment and Inquiry Tools

• Teachers have the student data, evaluation tools and instructional information necessary to pinpoint and address each student’s learning needs, which in turn allows teachers to be more successful at raising achievement overall.
• The New Visions team works directly with teachers in using student data to identify root causes for underachievement. Together they develop instructional strategies to engage each student and increase achievement.
