The New York Urban League Whitney M. Young, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Summary: For African-American, Latino, Asian or Native American high school graduates or GED recipients with excellent character and proven leadership ability.

Eligibility: Must be a resident of New York City and admitted to an accredited college in pursuit of a bachelor's or associate's degree. Must be a high school graduate with a cumulative average of 80 or a cumulative GED of 250.

Amount: Up to $2,500 per year
