What do you do?
I'm an art and graphic design teacher here at AMS II.

Why do you work in education?
I work in education because I love inspiring students. I use what I'm excited about, art and design, to get students excited about whatever it is that their gifts, talents and or aspirations may be.

What do you love about AMS II?
I love the sense of community here at AMS II; there's a willingness that we have to help and support each other that's admirable.

3 Things people may not know about you?
I have a passion for helping the poor (directly whenever I possibly can)

What are your hobbies outside of school?
Mario kart on the switch
Long walks in the mornings

What are some highlights of yours since starting at AMS II?
Watching Melanie Griffin play volleyball for the first time.
Seeing Hector Rodriguez faithfully work on an oversized work of art that took an entire month to finish.
Thoroughly enjoying half a sandwich Ms. DeRosa-Farag shared with me on a random Tuesday.

What has been one of your favorite personal grows?
Navigating interpersonal relationships.

What are your hopes for the students?
A self-directed life overflowing with options, opportunity, autonomy and freedom.

If students could take away one thing from you, what would it be?
Never let someone’s opinion of you define your value or who you know yourself to be.
