As a student of the month I reflected on how I’ve matured over the last few years at HUM IV. I must say that I am truly proud of myself for achieving this recognition. These past two years have been challenging. I’ve struggled with being on time to class, completing homework, and finding the motivation to stay in class. At the end of last year I received my report card and saw that my grades were not reflective of who I am and was determined to change that. I was happy to have a supportive Ensemble teacher in my corner to offer me words of encouragement and daily check ups on my goals. I knew that I had to follow through to make my parents proud and most of all myself. Through these experiences I’ve become more committed to being a better leader to my peers and the best possible version of myself.
