  • Carolina Rice Scholarship

    Summary: For high school seniors who plan to go to college.

    Eligibility: Must attend high school in the metro areas of New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Miami Dade and Broward counties, Los Angeles, Orange county or San Francisco/ San Jose. Must submit an essay on the topic provided in English or Spanish and be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a Social Security number.

  • Horatio Alger National Scholarship Program

    Summary: For high school students who are committed to using there degrees in service to others.

    Eligibility: Must be a high school senior with a minimum 2.0 GPA, involved in extracurricular activities with demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity pursuing college. Must have critical financial need ($50,000 and lower) and a U.S. citizen.

  • The Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest

    Summary: For any high school senior in the United States who can call ducks.

    Eligibility: Must use four duck calls (hail, feed, comeback and mating) in 90 seconds.

  • Elder & Leemaur Publishers Scholarship

    Summary: For high school juniors or seniors planning to attend a college or university in the United States or Canada, or current undergraduates.

    Eligibility: Must submit an essay that answers one of the questions provided in no more than 500 words. Noncitizens may apply.

  • Elks National Foundation Scholarship Most Valuable Student Competition

    Summary: Applicants will be judged on leadership and financial need and will advance through local, district, and state competitions to reach the national competition.

    Eligibility: Must be a high school senior who is a U.S. citizen and will be pursuing a four-year degree full-time  at a U.S. college or university. Must take SAT and ACT.

  • Frank O’Neill Memorial Scholarship

    Summary: For students planning to attend a university, college, trade school, technical institute, vocational training or other postsecondary education program.

  • Eagle Foundation Scholarship

    Summary: To help exceptional young men and women prepare to become effective future leaders committed to making the world a better place.

    Eligibility: Must be a high school senior with a GPA of at least 3.4, have a combined SAT math and verbal score of 1,200 or above, require financial assistance, hold recognized leadership positions in the school and community and be seeking to make this world a better place. Must also reside in CT, NJ or NY, and live within two hour drive of Eagle Office in Greenwich, CT.

  • Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial Scholarships

    Summary: For New York State students who are dependents of parents or guardians presently receiving disability benefit payments from New York State Workers’ Compensation Law for Permanent Total or Permanent Partial Disability.

  • NBFAA Youth Scholarship Program

    Summary: For students with a parent or guardian who is a full-time public safety officer (police/fire). Awards are based on a combination of academic achievement, national test scores, extracurricular participation and an essay.

    Eligibility: Must be a graduating high school senior and accepted for admission to an accredited college or university. Parent or guardian must be a full-time public safety officer (police/fire), including a volunteer member of a fire department.

    Deadline: March 31 - if submitted directly to NBAA. Individual states have different deadlines.
