New Visions’ Digital Teacher Corps (DTC) and Lab, supported by the Ford Foundation, is a collaboration among educators, technologists, and designers to build innovative digital learning examples that illustrate how technology can be integrated to improve student engagement, motivation, and success. Teamed up with other experts, teachers can spark innovative ideas that can be prototyped and incubated into reality. »
A focus on small school success
According to the MDRC analysis of 105 newly created high schools—two-thirds of which are New Visions schools—the graduation rate was 6.8% higher than the other schools. This improvement alone had the dramatic impact of narrowing the graduation achievement gap found across the city between students of color and white students by nearly a third. »
