No, not at this time.
As the exam and course requirements for science in NYC and NY State have shifted, we encourage everyone to use our two NYSSLS/NGSS-designed courses: Biology and Earth & Space Science.
If you still need access to the Living Environment and Earth Science courses that New Visions developed and maintained in the past, please contact [email protected], and we will be glad to give you access to the Google folder of materials for these courses.
We are in the process of updating all resources related to micro-routines, and they will be back on the site in Summer 2025. Please email [email protected] if you are looking for a specific resource or have a question about the routines.
At New Visions for Public Schools, we believe that every classroom is a literacy classroom and all literacy instruction should be rooted in the science of reading. We encourage schools to use an ELA curriculum that incorporates this research into its resources.
Educators who are continuing to use the New Visions ELA curriculum can still access course materials, although we are not revising or updating them at this time. Please email [email protected] with any questions about this.
At New Visions for Public Schools, we believe that Illustrative Mathematics (IM) offers the most accessible, high-quality, vertically-aligned curriculum available for high school mathematics. Since IM is also a Core Curriculum option for NYC Public Schools, we are focusing our math professional learning and coaching support on the adoption and implementation of IM.
At this point, we will be removing the archived New Visions Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II materials from our website. While we recognize that a community of educators may continue to access these materials and use them to support student success in secondary mathematics, so the underlying Google docs remain online but not actively maintained.
Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions.
