Teacher to Librarian (T2L) Second Certificate Initiative

Teachers must have an existing valid New York State classroom teacher certification and meet the admission requirements for at least one of the college partners.

We held an information event on January 22, 2025.

Before February 28, 2025, complete the Cohort Four Application Form and attach your current resume or CV and two professional references.

This is a multi-step process.

• First, you will submit the application for selection as a member of the T2L cohort.
• If selected as a possible candidate, you will be invited to an individual or group interview. INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD APRIL 15-17 (Spring Break for NYC Public Schools) in Midtown Manhattan.
• If approved to move on, you will need to submit additional supporting materials to Syracuse University or St. John Fisher University for acceptance into the graduate program.

Applications are open until February 28, 2025. Applications received by that date will be considered as a group; applications received after that date will be considered if space allows.
