Cultivator & Ambassador Models

The Cultivator & Ambassador models engage students in career-readiness activities with corporate partners designed to promote understanding of careers, workplace norms, employer expectations, and the knowledge and skills necessary for career success.

Cultivator Model

The Cultivator Model offers corporate partners a one-time, exclusive engagement with up to three schools. New Visions provides comprehensive support to partners, including detailed engagement materials and orientation to ensure a smooth experience.

Ambassador Model

The Ambassador Model provides exclusive access to engage with multiple schools through high-impact, tailor-made, experiences co-created in partnership with the corporate partner. Experiences will differ in scope, duration, and the number of volunteers required. New Visions provides comprehensive support to volunteers, including detailed engagement materials and orientation to ensure a smooth experience.

Understanding the Field

Engage students in learning about the field, company, and a range of positions and roles

Career panels, workplace tours, guest speakers

Skill Building

With New Vision’s support, co-design and implement an immersion activity

Mock interviews, financial literacy workshops, career readiness skills workshops

Organizational Culture

Connect with employee volunteers to practice skills and build social capital

“Day in the Life” panels, networking lunches

Roles

New Visions:

  • Program model development, implementation, and evaluation
  • School recruitment, engagement, and management
  • Volunteer orientation, event agenda, and logistics
  • Reporting on student and employee volunteer experience

Corporate Partner:

  • Employee volunteers to co-facilitate student activities
  • Financial support
  • Consultation to inform program agenda
  • On-site space to host events (some events can be virtual)
