How do historians determine what happened in the past?
The unit develops core historical thinking skills by training students to analyze sources through corroboration, contextualization, and sourcing, while evaluating the perspectives and motives of historical actors. It also emphasizes long-term analysis, guiding students to identify patterns and enduring issues across extended periods of time.
